I really love Stollen. It is a kind of cake which is consumed mainly in Christmas season in Germany. It needs professional skill to make very good one. Such a good one costs expensive even in Germany. You can still get bulk production ones at supermarket, it is only one or two Euros each, but have rough texture and does not taste very good.

The things we can get here in Japan is bulk production ones but it costs about 10 Euro at least! I believe most Japanese people think in this way, “German people eats strange cake in Christmas. They are weird.”

I really miss good German Stollen which made by a Meister.
